Our client is a high quality mechanical clamping tools and bearings manufacturer and reseller.
Our client does not accept applications requiring administrative procedures for a work authorization (residence permit, work permit, various authorizations, etc.)
Mission
Our client looking for a Sales Manager to join its team. The salesperson's main responsibility will be to make sales contacts, research customer needs, and develop effective applications of products and services for the Collets and Toolholders product line.
Main responsibilities for the job :
- Manage and develop contacts in your region.
- Develop new leads for all product lines.
- Generate statistical reports.
- Follow up on sales leads and make calls on potential customers.
- Determine market strategies and goals for each product and service.
- Obtain and coordinate data and information from staff and member groups.
- Be self-sufficient and independent in scheduling.
- Research and develop lists of potential customers.
- Determine customer needs and provide information to other staff.
- Evaluate product and service marketability in terms of customers' technical and manufacturing needs.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
- Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.
- Work directly with customers to establish a communication path with them.
- Develop sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products and services.
- Develop technical presentations and workshops.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
- Make regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.
- Establish long-term, ongoing, and repeat relationships.
- Close deals and finalize contracts.
- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned
The Sales Manager will spend at least 50% of the time visiting customers and creating relationships on the road.
