SodeciaSaarlouis, Saarland, GermanySODECIA is looking for a skilled and proactive Purchasing Supervisor – MRO to join our dynamic team in Saarlouis. Key Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify the best sources in terms of cost, delivery, and quality
- Negotiate and conclude efficient, long-term supplier contracts aligned with company objectives
- Lead procurement activities according to Sodecia’s purchasing procedures and standards
- Analyze offers and make supplier recommendations based on cost, technical, and commercial criteria
- Oversee contract execution and ensure quality of service delivery
- Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve issues and optimize performance
- Monitor purchasing KPIs and implement corrective actions based on key indicators (e.g., Gross Margin, Supplier Assessments)
- Drive improvements in payment terms and supplier conditions
- Forecast pricing trends and provide strategic market insights
- Coordinate engineering change processes (internal / customer-driven) with the Engineering and Purchasing teams
- Participate in weekly plant, PGC, APQP, and commodity strategy meetings
