Overview

The Procurement Manager, based in Berlin / Potsdam   will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, from ordering and receiving to inventory management. A focus on cost-effective purchasing, timely deliveries, and smooth operations will be key to success in this role.

Your mission

  • Oversee the procurement process from ordering to receiving and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers..
  • Ensure inventory levels are accurate and optimized to prevent stock shortages or excess.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely and correct delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations and finance, to forecast and fulfill procurement needs.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to maintain cost-effective purchasing and stay within budget.
  • Keep accurate records of all procurement transactions, inventory levels, and supplier contracts.
  • Assist with daily and weekly inventory and communicate the line items to management.

Your profile

  • Prio experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
  • Knowledge in inventory management and maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Proficient in forecasting procurement needs and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Ability to analyze data, track procurement performance, and generate reports.
  • Skilled in contract management and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Focused on cost optimization and budget adherence.
  • Proven track record in ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
