Join our dynamic technology laboratory, where we design and refine rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives for high-performance technical tapes. This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge cutting-edge research with real-world applications, contributing to breakthrough solutions in adhesion science.

As a Research Scientist in our team, you will be at the forefront of adhesive innovation, developing and optimizing rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives. Your work will involve :

• Designing and executing experimental plans, conducting hands-on lab work, and evaluating adhesive and tape samples.
• Leading or supporting technology and product development projects.
• Developing compounding processes and scaling up formulations from laboratory to commercial production.
• Identifying, testing, and evaluating new raw materials while independently managing supplier interactions.
• Presenting research findings internally, both orally and in written form.
• Contributing to intellectual property (IP) protection efforts for research and development advancements.
• PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Industry experience is beneficial but not required.
• Knowledge of rubber compounding and polymer physics and deep analytical polymer understanding is a plus.
• Strong analytical, independent, and problem-solving skills with a structured and team-oriented approach.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory research and experimental design.
• Excellent communication and networking skills, with confidence in presenting research findings.
• Experience in project and data management is advantageous.
• Full professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
