What you will be doing

The future EHS Manager will be responsible for an effective EHS management in Pforzheim, assuring full compliance with EHS legislation and Umicore’s guidance / standards. Supporting within the Business Unit (BU) EHS Process Technology functions at all BU Jewelry & Industrial Metals (JIM) sites.

Together with the other members of the Management Team of Agosi, the jobholder is responsible for designing, implementing and continuous improving the short, medium and long term Health, Safety and Environmental strategies and tactical plans of the BU, in line with the RISE vision and corporate EHS roadmaps.

The role is directly responsible for Occupational and Process Safety, Emergency Response & Fire Prevention, H&S Systems and Performance Management, with a functional responsibility over Occupational Health (which reports directly to the Group Director Health & Wellbeing).
