Architect - Insurance
VenquisCologne , DEob Title : Data & Analytics Architect - Insurance Sector (m / f / d)
Location : Germany (Hybrid or Remote options available)
Employment Type : Full-time
About the Role
Are you deeply passionate about data, analytics, and the insurance industry? Do you want to help shape the future of data-driven transformation within insurance while collaborating with other experts on equal footing?
We're looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Architect to play a key role in expanding a growing Data-Driven Insurance team. This unit acts as the technical spearhead for delivering cutting-edge data platforms and analytics solutions tailored specifically to the insurance sector.
In this role, you will have significant creative freedom and strategic influence, helping design modern data architectures, drive the adoption of new technologies, and shape innovative analytics solutions for some of the industry's most complex challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities
Design Modern Analytics Platforms
Architect end-to-end data solutions from concept to deployment across cloud and on-premise environments.
Modernise Legacy Environments
Lead the migration of existing analytics platforms to scalable, cloud-native data ecosystems.
Evaluate and Implement Technologies
Identify relevant data technologies and evaluate them for practical application, always considering the specific needs of insurance clients.
Client Engagement
Support workshops, proposals, and strategic discussions around data architecture and analytics technologies.
Innovate Our Offering
Take responsibility for designing and developing new solution modules and reusable components for the broader portfolio.
Mentor and Inspire
Guide and motivate data engineers and analytics consultants, contributing as both a technical leader and a professional role model.
Your Profile
You bring extensive project experience in the insurance industry, ideally across multiple lines of business and stakeholders.
You possess deep technical expertise in data warehouse architectures, big data platforms, and cloud-based analytics services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
You are well-versed in modern data architecture approaches such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or Data Lakehouse.
You can communicate complex ideas clearly, tailoring your message for both technical and business audiences.
You enjoy thought leadership, whether through speaking at events, publishing insights, or mentoring peers.
You have a strong desire to build, lead, and innovate within a highly collaborative team.
Why Join Us?
Work at the forefront of insurance innovation and help shape a fast-growing, technically ambitious competence centre.
Be part of a team where expertise is valued and creative freedom is encouraged.
Benefit from a flat hierarchy, flexible working options, and a culture built on trust, collaboration, and ongoing learning.
Collaborate with industry professionals who share your passion for data, technology, and making a meaningful impact.
