HPC Systems Engineer (m / f / div)

starting as soon as possible.

The position is part of the Central Scientific Facility (CSF) "Scientific Computing" , which provides high-performance computing resources and expertise to enable cutting-edge research at the institute. The CSF Scientific Computing team – a tech-loving group that values openness, fresh ideas, and close collaboration – operates a state-of-the-art GPU clusters with more than 1200 GPUs, serving as a critical backbone for advancing groundbreaking research in AI.

Possible tasks include :

• Build, administer, optimize, and maintain Linux-based HPC / GPU cluster and storage systems for maximum performance and reliability.
• Support researchers with software setup, job scheduling, and system optimization.
• Implement security, data management, and scalable computing solutions in collaboration with research teams.
• Document configurations and provide user training and support.
