We are offering an innovative Software Quality Test Engineer to join our software team in Waldbronn, Germany.

An exciting opportunity to create software solutions in the lab environment. Our aim is to investigate, identify and develop new products, processes, and technology that will enable a smoother laboratory workflow using our liquid chromatography instruments for our customers to gain trusted answers and insights efficiently.

In order to succeed in this role, you who will be driving and collaborating with the team to set up of the infrastructure for the Test Automation, from defining, implementing test methods, procedures and criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the development and implementation of test campaigns from automated, functional test cases to validate customer workflows across the Liquid Chromatography product portfolio within key Chromatography Data System platforms and additional Applications.
• Establish the definition and development of automated test cases for functional, performance, and system testing
• Work with R&D engineers and Product Marketing to apply the correct test concepts for functional, system, workflow, and integration tests
• Ensures traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects
• Produces and performs required Product Lifecycle documentation to ensure Agilent's quality metrics are met
