KGaA is seeking a highly motivated Specialist (all gender) in Process Analytical Technology to join our dynamic team with a permanent contract. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our innovative BEETROMETER® product, leveraging advanced NIRS applications to create value and drive new ideas. This job contract is based in our headquarter in Einbeck, Germany, but we are open to offer remote possibilities within Germany in alignment with the hiring manager.

As a Specialist (all gender) in Process Analytical Technology, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies that monitor critical quality attributes and process parameters . Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and processes, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements . Responsibilities :

  • Support Sugarbeet Business Ventures in providing service to customers within the scope of different NIRS applications (e.g. BEETROMETER).
  • Contribute to the development, validation, and implementation of NIRS applications and PAT strategies to monitor critical quality attributes (CQAs) and critical process parameters (CPPs).
  • Plan, conduct, analyze, and present results of trials for customer-specific Beetrometer® applications.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Analyze data from PAT tools to identify trends, optimize processes, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PAT tools into existing processes and define process KPIs and success metrics.
  • Provide training and support to staff and customers.
  • Travel globally up to 35% of working time.

Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in process analytical technology or related area.
  • Strong knowledge of optical measurement systems, particularly near infrared spectroscopy.
  • Experience in chemometrics and multivariate calibration or machine learning (Matlab), experience in handling scrips in Python or C++ will be a plus.
  • Passion for the job and with this commitment and flexibility.
  • Hands-on character, able to work in office and production environments.
  • Intercultural skills, problem-solving attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, customer orientation, and open mind.
  • Effective communication in English is mandatory, German and / or French language is a plus.
  • Valid EU Driving License B will be a plus as well, as this would make travelling to the locations much easier.
