Your tasks

• Quality and timely procurement of non-production materials "NPM" and services, as well as capital goods, at optimal prices, or within the planned budget, in the defined areas, according to existing Continental purchasing guidelines for ContiTech in regional projects
• Complete handling of the ordering process via CEOS and SAP, including any complaints handling as well as internal and external communication
• Preparing and conducting tenders, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations for procurement projects in the defined areas, sometimes in cooperation with purchasing managers, create and compile Sourcing Decisions Sheets, ensure BPBoC and NDA signatures, collect financial and commercial records, identify and develop vendors
• Starting point for contracts / agreements settlements, in partnership with Legal, plants and other regional purchasing roles and plants. To ensure these agreements are created, approved and signed and communicate to the affected regions and plants
• Setting up cost improvement projects and tracking the achievement of goals as well as global cooperation / strategy / synergy development with different company locations.
• Support and management of special projects
• Secure global supply at competitive prices in full consideration of qualitative and technological aspects and respecting business ramp-up plans
