About the Role

Are you a logistics leader with a passion for managing largescale operations in the automotive industry We are hiring a Site Manager for a major automotive logistics operation near Stuttgart. This is a careerdefining opportunity to lead a highperforming team and oversee a fastpaced complex contract logistics operation for a globally recognized logistics provider.

With a workforce of over 15000 employees in 75 locations across 10 countries they are experts in valueadded logistics including transport warehousing preassembly and the sequential production of parts and modules. Their innovative approach to logistics and supply chain management has made them a trusted partner for top automotive manufacturers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

As a Site Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of this largescale operation. Key duties include :

  • Leadership and Team Management :

Manage and inspire a team of over 300 employees.

  • Drive operational success by fostering a highperformance culture and providing leadership to team leaders and staff.
  • Promote employee engagement and professional growth.
  • Operational Oversight :

    • Oversee all aspects of daily logistics operations including transport warehousing and inventory management.

  • Ensure alignment with automotive logistics industry standards and client requirements.
  • Continuously improve KPIs streamline processes and enhance efficiency across the site.
  • Client and Contract Management :

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for a major automotive logistics client.

  • Ensure service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with the client to develop solutions and deliver outstanding service quality.
  • Strategic and Financial Management :

    • Develop and oversee budgets ensuring financial targets are achieved.

  • Identify costsaving opportunities and implement process improvements.
  • Contribute to longterm strategies that drive growth and innovation.

    • What We Are Looking For

    We are searching for a logistics professional with a proven track record in managing largescale operations. The ideal candidate will possess :

  • Experience in contract logistics supply chain management or automotive logistics.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams of 300 employees.
  • Expertise in logistics operations including transportation warehousing and inventory management.
  • Fluency in German and English (preferred).
  • Strategic thinking problemsolving abilities and strong communication skills.
