We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Purchaser within Electronics, to join one of our key clients, a global leader in the electronics manufacturing industry, based in Dresden.

This position offers hybrid working, and the opportunity to work with one of the largest automotive functions in Germany, with the chance to develop your career on an international scale.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to achieve cost-effective procurement of goods and services
Analyse market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand

Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Fluent in German and English
