Siemens Smart Infrastructure Grid Software enables grid operators and industrial and infrastructure companies to accelerate the energy transition sustainably and profitably. We connect the physical and digital worlds with an integrated OT and IT landscape along the entire value chain, from planning to operation and maintenance. In doing so, we follow the design principles of modularity, openness, user-centricity, interoperability and reliability. The "Net Zero" challenge is leading to a fundamental change in energy generation and energy consumption. A seven-fold increase in DER installations is forecast by 2030. This ground-breaking transformation of the energy sector, characterised by a bi-directional flow of electricity from intermittent renewable energy sources and new consumption patterns, leads to enormous complexity. This is where we come in. Our big goal? We believe that software is the key to turning these challenges into opportunities.  What part will you play? As part of the Sales Operations team, you will be responsible for the quotation and order fulfillment process for grid simulation software and its digital transformation, in close cooperation with our regional sales units and with sales channels such as eCommerce.

  • In your new role, you create and coordinate complex software proposals to global sales organizations, process orders and deliver licenses in the Grid Simulation Software business
  • Support the global sales regions through regular, proactive communication and coordination within the Sales Operations team
  • Maintain customer data in Salesforce.com, identify potential for improvement in data management and work on cross-departmental data projects
  • Support the development, implementation and operation of digital software sales processes with a focus on workflow automation, CPQ and e-commerce, in collaboration with multi-functional teams
  • Work on the development and standardization of terms and conditions
  • In addition, be conceptually involved in topics related to the Xcelerator Marketplace, such as defining business requirements
  • Your tasks will be rounded off by managing area-specific key figures and creating reports and analyses

What you need to make real what matters.

  • You have a university degree in business administration, finance, business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • You also have several years of professional experience, preferably in sales operations / internal sales or sales finance in international software sales
  • You have good knowledge of terms and conditions and license agreements
  • You bring extensive knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), SAP and Salesforce
  • You have experience in creating reports and analyses
  • You have significant IT project experience, ideally in digitalization in sales, subscription management and / or e-commerce
  • You are interested in strategic and conceptual topics in the field of digital selling and in an agile working environment
  • You have an independent, proactive and structured way of working, are a strong communicator in business proficient German & English and interculturally competent
  • You are flexible and can easily adapt to new tasks, solutions and customer needs. You are also good at convincing team colleagues with your dedication and helpfulness
