Strategic buyer Jobs in Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf

Our client, an industrial company operating on a global scale, is looking for a Technical / Project Buyer - immediate integration on a permanent contract.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the R&D department, you are responsible for setting up and monitoring the integration of suppliers and subcontractors for the production of their machines. You analyze plans and nomenclatures, produce technical files and launch calls for tenders with suppliers.

You negotiate offers, place orders and monitor progress with strategic suppliers, ensuring that supplier deadlines are met. You handle supplier non-conformities, evaluate suppliers and support them in a continuous improvement process.

You actively participate in the continuous improvement process and the cost reduction policy.

In order to succeed in this role, you have technical training such as a mechanical / electromechanical engineer. You have 8 years' experience minimum in a similar role, in a project environment, as technical buyer.

You are autonomous, rigorous and enjoy teamwork. You know how to read plans and product nomenclatures to execute calls for tenders and your good interpersonal skills do not prevent you from being firm and demanding with your suppliers. Your curious nature and strength of proposal will also be appreciated.

Mastery of the English language is essential - German is considered an advantage.
