Job Description :

As a Strategic Sourcing Capital Buyer at Mars you will be accountable for supporting execution of capital investment projects in your geographical scope of responsibility, in line with the capital strategies and processes, maintaining high level of partnering with stakeholders to deliver value to Mars and timely completion of business goals.

This includes but is not limited to understanding key market / regional drivers and key suppliers, contract negotiations, obtaining contract approvals, forecasting, managing supplier relationships, delivering improvements in areas such as cost, cash, quality, service as well as capturing and reporting any corresponding savings opportunities.

What are we looking for?

• University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 3 years of sourcing and / or engineering experience.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Prepared to travel to suppliers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch and German are an advantage
