IT&Data Sub-Cluster Manager

To reinforce our IT team we are looking for a IT&Data Sub-Cluster Manager.

About the role of IT and Data Sub-Cluster Manager East

Join a dynamic, international team and contribute to the growth and success of Ontex’s IT&Data landscape. This role offers the opportunity to shape and drive the regional IT strategy, ensuring security, stability, and business continuity. We are seeking a highly skilled IT&Data Sub-Cluster Manager to lead our regional IT&Data team. You will ensure the highest standards of support service and security, collaborating closely with various departments to develop and implement strategic IT solutions.

Mission and Key Tasks

  • Lead a team of IT&Data professionals across multiple locations (Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Ukraine).
  • Develop and implement IT&Data strategies in collaboration with other departments.
  • Manage local and regional projects, ensuring they meet budget, quality, and deadlines.
  • Ensure system performance and security compliance in line with corporate standards.
  • Act as a business partner to plant and general managers, providing counsel on IT solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of Agile / SCRUM methodologies.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on IT processes.
  • Support the organization's growth by implementing the right technology choices.

Background and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT management role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional regional language is a plus.
  • Proven people management skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • ITIL Foundation v3 / v4 certification and Agile / SCRUM experience are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10, M365, SharePoint, and basic networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
