Zusammenfassung

We are seeking an experienced (Senior) Strategic Procurement Manager Generalist . The ideal candidate should have broad expertise in commodities such as hydraulics carbon & graphite electrochemical components electronics and energy plants . As a company specializing in REDOX Flow Batteries based on Iron Salt Chemistry we require a professional with deep expertise in this field or a closely related industry. The main objective of this role is to evolve our supplier portfolio into a fully stablished supply chain ensuring source assurance and cost efficiency at scale .

Im Fernanda Team Lead Strategic Procurement at VoltStorage GmbH a Munichbased startup with more than 70 employees. In 2016 Jakob Michael and Felix founded VoltStorage. Our vision is to make renewable energy available around the clock to enable a green sustainable and fair future. As experts in stationary flow batteries we aim to cover all application areas of stationary battery storage systems with our multitechnology approach and thus make a significant contribution to the energy transition.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Identify new suppliers for highvalue industrial goods electrical components and balance of plant for energy installations under strategic considerations
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs across highvalue industrial goods and diverse commodities ensuring competitive pricing at scale.
  • Enhance necessary supplier initiatives that drive cost efficiency and scalability fostering strong longterm relationships with suppliers eager to engage in new business opportunities with us.
  • Work closely with engineering and product management to align procurement decisions with product roadmaps and costout initiatives.
  • Analyze and refine Bills of Materials for new and existing products driving supplier negotiations to achieve cost savings.

Anforderungen

  • Background in Engineering or Business with a Technical Training.
  • Minimum of 5 10 years in strategic procurement preferably in Batteries environment Chemistry Engineering or a similar technology.
  • Strong understanding of supplier negotiations cost structure analysis and longterm partnership development .
  • Demonstrated success in scaling procurement operations and supplier networks in previous roles.
  • Experience working with Balance of Plant (BoP) for energy installations and planning procurement strategies for new product introductions .
