Your scope and daily tasks

  • Support the Automation Engineering Team in their daily tasks :
  • Design, development and programming of PLC programmes and applications using TIA Portal for plants and machines
  • Integrate industrial safety systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Design and troubleshoot automation systems, particularly in industrial settings
  • Oversee network communication setup and troubleshooting between devices and systems
  • Commissioning and parameterisation of control systems
  • Creation of plant documentation
  • Service and maintenance of the plants
  • Ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability in system implementations

Your profile

  • Enrolled in a university study in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong affinity to programming and ability to quickly learn new programming languages
  • Prior knowledge in the mentioned systems & standards is a PLUS
  • in TIA Portal and PLC programming
  • Industrial safety systems (SIS) and compliance with relevant safety standards
  • Network communication protocols, including Profibus, Profinet, and OPC UA
  • Siemens systems, including PLC, SCADA, and HMI, with hands-on experience
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant programming software
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
