Description
As Black Belt Business Unit (BU) High Voltage Products you will be responsible to integrate and lead local of global task force teams in the effective resolution of a major quality issue or other problem following the appropriate solution methods defined in Lean Six Sigma, APQP or alike.
You may coach the task force teams of the appropriate methodology with real cases or case study examples for practical implementation and drive business results and support the skills and competencies enhancement in the operating units throughout the BU and regions (HUBs).
This position can be fulfilled completely remotely in Europe, we are prioritizing skills and experience over physical work location.
Your responsibilities
Actively lead and implement key projects to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, rework, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.
Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives.
Consult with leaders and teams across the company to identify, diagnose, and problem solve organizational development and effectiveness problems and solutions. Implements work group intervention strategies. Create team processes for optimizing results.
Support of deployment of BU Quality strategy through effective utilization of BU Black Belt and Green Belt resources where needed. Work with executive leadership to select and prioritize projects to ensure work aligns with strategic goals
Lead, run or support strategic Black Belt projects across Global Product Groups (GPGs) Regions (HUBs) and BUs
Mentor, facilitate, and coach Green Belt certification and on-going coaching process
Your background
Extensive experience (8+ years) in both manufacturing and business environments
5+ years of experience with leading Lean or Six Sigma improvement projects or application of the associated tools
Proven team leadership skills and ability to influence others at all levels of an organization
Strong analytical skills to deal with data, descriptive, statistical, and graphical analyses
Be a connector to bring the right expertise together, value diversity
Strong character capable to deal with all aspects of change management
Excellent root cause analysis problem solving skills (DMAIC, 8D, A3, 3 Legged 5 Why)
Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to travel up to 50% to other locations / factories
