Deutsche Rentenversicherung Saarland, as the regional provider of statutory pension insurance and provider of supplementary miners' insurance, is looking for a system technician to join its team in the Information Technology department as soon as possible ( m / w / d ) full or part-time, permanent.

Your tasks

  • Administration and maintenance of Microsoft servers (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP,...)
  • Administration of virtualized systems VMWare
  • Planning, implementation and monitoring of CISCO network infrastructures
  • Ensuring network and system security
  • Troubleshooting and error correction in server and network environments
  • Support with the implementation of new technologies and systems
  • Documentation of system configurations and changes
  • Project management and collaboration in IT -projects
  • Collaboration with others IT -teams to optimize the IT -infrastructure

You support, maintain and document as an administrator ( m / w / d ) the server and network infrastructure of the DRV -Saarland. Together with colleagues from the department, you will develop concepts for the further development of the infrastructure. The place of work is Saarbrücken.

We expect

  • Completed technical / university studies in the field of computer science or similar subject area with COMPUTER SCIENCE -orientation or a completed vocational training in the IT -field and the performance of corresponding activities based on equivalent skills and professional experience
  • Sound knowledge in the administration of Microsoft servers
  • Knowledge of the administration of VMWare systems
  • Knowledge and experience with networks and firewall systems
  • Knowledge of network security and protocols
  • Ability and willingness to familiarize yourself with new work areas and methods in the shortest possible time
  • High level of commitment, reliability, ability to work under pressure, communication and teamwork skills, strong organizational and planning skills, initiative and sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to work outside the usual time frame in exceptional cases (e.g. evenings or weekends)
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Screen capability
  • Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with the Saarland Security Check Act
