Convergint seeks a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, forward-thinking  Site Manager to join our fantastic culture. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, direction, application engineering, procurement, field installation, start-up and close of assigned projects. This position is a key interface with the customer and is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. • Manage on-site; oversee and coordinate many aspects of projects from award through completion, as well as many aspects of assigned projects from award through completion of the project, including overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget. Prepare project installation plan, manage the plan, prepare and implement job procedures, represent the company in client and site meetings, and take and own actions.
• Translate a variety of customer needs / requirements into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet Customer requirements; review and approve estimated costs prior to bid; provide technical assistance to the sales force as and when required; supervise project design engineering; supervise installation labor and subcontractors; prepare project schedules, subcontracts, change proposals, and project invoices; assist with project collections.
• Communicate requirements effectively to the project team and broader organization as needed and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing internal and external reports.
• Acts as our customers' best service provider at all times, ensuring Convergint is their first choice for service.
• Identify potential project risks and develop / implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
• Proactively communicate project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities regularly with customers and seek to improve customer satisfaction continuously.
• Coordinate the procurement of materials, supplies, services, and controls necessary for the timely, cost-effective project completion within budget. Manage the on-site contractors and installers.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs; Exposure to financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports; identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine impact on the project; adjust or correct project plan and / or project cost estimates as necessary to meet financial goals.
• Manage the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts, including cost control, delivery fulfilment, quality of service and other customer requirements as they arise.
• May perform a limited range of managerial responsibilities, including mentoring, coaching, developing colleagues, planning, assigning and directing work. Oversee subcontractor selection process and work.
