Department

The Corporate Planning division, located in Brussels, consists of several departments : The corporate planning department in charge of Group Controlling & Daikin Europe controlling, the Business Analytics department, and the Internal controls & J-Sox department.

The division is responsible for drilling down the strategy into annual budgets and realizing the group targets. This is done in cooperation with all sales and manufacturing entities, as well as with other departments in Daikin Europe. As a backbone for group-wide reporting, the department takes care of the management of the sales-, margin-, and pricing data, as well as collecting and reporting market intelligence. Our mission is to safeguard and manage profitability, via periodic reporting to top-management, close follow-up and by proposing countermeasure actions.

Furthermore, the division is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate governance and internal controls in the group (e.g. J-SOx and system access).

The vacancy is in the Business Analytics Department.

Function

• You will be involved in SAP roll-outs at our daughter companies. You will propose & implement changes to improve the controlling function within our group.
• You will discuss changes requested by the business and translate this together with the IT Center into SAP / PowerBI solutions. You translate the business requirements towards IT so they can provide working IT solutions, brining added value to the business.
• You will be involved in the roll-out of Sales & Service software package at our daughter companies. During these projects, you will mainly focus on controlling in SAP, as well as the reporting track in PowerBI.
• You will be involved in the set-up of new reporting dashboards in PowerBI across EMEA organization. In the dashboard you will combine all related operational tools.
• You work together with a wide range of stakeholders that all have different requirements, you are able to set priorities, manage expectations and communicate accordingly. Your ideas how to further improve our setup will created added value.
