Due to the growth of the business, they have had a brand new, vital, very exciting opportunity that has come up for their team in Germany. The position is a Supply Chain Manager and is a permanent position.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will be an asset to the Supply Chain team. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and enhancing supply chain performance at the site to meet growing demand.
- Continuously optimizing the supply chain across all functions (planning, logistics, procurement, operations), with a focus on both strategic and tactical planning.
- Developing and implementing capacity planning and resource allocation strategies for the site.
- Acting as the liaison to the global supply chain, collaborating closely with key suppliers to ensure long-term supply planning and align with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Designing, implementing, and refining operational supply chain processes.
- Managing system integration (e.g., ERP), including defining and maintaining master data and ensuring the implementation of efficient workflows.
- Contributing to cross-site initiatives aimed at enhancing delivery capabilities and reducing lead times.
