Supply Chain Quality Engineers (m / f / d)

Your Responsibilities

Supply Chain Quality Engineers are responsible for the technical elements of supply chain management throughout all product life cycle phases.

This position is focusing on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)

Ensure availability of high-quality parts and assemblies, supported by robust supplier and supply chain capabilities

Major tasks are :

Ensure PCB Quality by establishing and enforcing IPC specifications and Advantest PCB guidelines across design, fabrication, and assembly

Manage NPI qualification and supplier readiness; Material validation and release before mass production

Drive failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions; monitor quality KPIs via the SPM (supplier performance) process and support AOS (assurance of supply) initiatives

Handle supplier claim management and risk mitigation to maintain delivery performance and product reliability

Lead supplier audits, dual sourcing, and DFM communication to ensure manufacturability

Approve manufacturing release for new products and maintain WCH

Your Qualifications

Bachelor / Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent with the subjects of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Material Science or equivalent job experience

Know-how of manufacturing and related test processes for PCBs

Knowledge of common failure mechanisms related PCBs

Very good analytical skills in solving technical issues

Team work / cross functional work capability

Language skills : fluent in English (writing & speaking); German min. B2

Strong self-management and coordination skills

Good communicator, presenting skills
