UcaneoOranienburg, DEYour mission UCANEO is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our Technical Development Team, contributing to the scaling and optimization of our innovative direct air capture (DAC) technology. You will support the design and scaling of our (DAC) systems by focusing on process simulations, scaling effects, and system optimization. Key responsibilities Recommend appropriate sizing and select equipment for the pilot plant to achieve optimal performance and scalability. Analyze scaling effects and propose design improvements to enhance reliability and operational efficiency. Drive equipment selection to ensure robust and stable process operations. Conduct process simulations to evaluate and optimize the DAC system's performance across different operational scales. Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, including P&IDs and technical reports. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and process requirements to facilitate smooth commissioning and operation of the pilot plant. Support coordination with external engineering partners for project implementation. Your profile Skills and Experience Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. >
2 years in process engineering, with a focus on industrial-scale systems and electrochemical processes. Proficiency in designing and optimizing industrial processes, including P&IDs and process simulation tools. Strong understanding of electrochemical systems, industrial units, and regulatory standards. Proven ability to scale processes from bench-top to industrial scale. Workstyle and culture Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex concepts rapidly. Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach. Genuine, self-aware, and reflective in actions and decisions. Highly organized with a structured work style to maintain focus and drive results.
