Join us on our journey: To drive the smart and sustainable energy future, we are looking for a (Senior) IT / Systems Administrator (d/f/m) who will define the IT strategy, choose the right tools and processes, and ensure our employees have a secure, reliable, and frictionless technology environment.

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: € 75.000 - 90.000 + competitive VSOP package
• Working Mode: In office setup
• Language Requirement: C1 Level English
• Role: Individual Contributor Role (this is not a leadership role)

Your Responsibilities

• Define and implement our IT strategy, building scalable foundations across multiple offices.
• Administer and evolve core systems, including Google Workspace, Sophos (MDM and endpoint protection), and key SaaS platforms.
• Procure, configure, and distribute hardware (laptops, monitors, and accessories) for new joiners and replacements.
• Ensure all devices are properly enrolled and compliant in Sophos, and actively monitor and respond to alerts.
• Design and automate onboarding/offboarding workflows, access provisioning, and system configurations.
• Own and improve identity and access management to ensure secure, reliable access across all systems.
• Perform regular health checks, patching, and troubleshooting across endpoints and SaaS integrations.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, license tracking, and lifecycle management.
• Establish IT processes (incident, change, and asset management) aligned with ITIL principles.
• Collaborate closely with People Ops and external vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or Senior IT Engineer in system administration, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Track record of designing and running IT systems for companies with multiple offices.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts and security best practices across systems and cloud environments.
• Experience in Administering Apple Mac Devices & Windows Devices.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and streamline workflows.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to execute independently while collaborating closely with Tech and People teams.
• A proactive, security-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with incident and change management processes, ideally aligned with ITIL principles.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, REMIT)

Hi there!

I'm Müge, Head of People at Entrix and Flexa, since July 2022.
I was born and raised in Turkey, moved to Germany in 2015 to start a new life here. I studied Psychology in my BSc and MSc thinking I will either stay in academia or go on a clinical psychology journey but then decided to move to business - a decision that I am very happy with since then!

The last 8 years I have worked at tech startups at very different size and development stages (with employee count of 20 to 200). I have learned a lot and grown both as a professional and as a private person in those years thanks to the amazing people I have worked with.
Here are some of those learnings I aspire to live by everyday:

• I strongly believe People topics cannot be worked on in isolation and have to address the needs of the business. Therefore all People Team Members have to be first and foremost members of the Entrix team and then our team.
• From entry level to the most senior members of the team, everyone is hired for a reason and that is to create a positive impact on the overall organization.
• My type of People people are those who are ambitious, eager to work on challenging tasks, are not scared of being challenged by others, have a strong focus on the outcome, and are motivated by the impact they create.
