Position Overview

This role will work with the wider Finance team to ensure financial reporting accuracy and contribute to an effective internal control environment. The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible to prepare monthly management accounts, perform key reconciliation tasks and assist with monthly / year-end processes and statutory returns.

Essential Job Functions

• Support in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts, providing analysis as required
• Maintenance of the general ledger including maintenance of prepayments, accruals and deferred income schedules, including preparation of journal entries
• Balance sheet account reconciliations and control
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers and depreciation
• Involvement with on-going projects and assist with process improvements to enhance business operations
• Support the Accounts Payable & Expenses team in responding to queries and escalations
• Assist with the annual audit
• Additional duties as assigned from time to time by management
