Job Overview Our Indexing Platform teams own, build, and extend the services that form the backbone of Solactive's core business, managing the setup, calculation, and maintenance of tens of thousands of indexes for our clients. In this role, you'll leverage your extensive experience to drive the technical evolution of our indexing platform through prototyping, spearheading and driving key initiatives as well as technical architecture, and mentoring colleagues. You'll tackle significant challenges, such as ensuring high availability, robustness, low latency, high throughput, and scalability. • Develop reusable and scalable services within our platform to enhance our indexing business offerings, data integration, and workflow automation for business teams.
• Lead architectural and engineering excellence within your team, ensuring our commitment to quality and innovation is maintained.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the company on cross-functional initiatives that shape the technical direction of our products.
• Mentor your team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow their skills and their impact, and advance their careers.
• Work closely with product owners and business teams, taking pride in seeing the immediate impact of your work on our business and customers. Your Profile
• You bring 10+ years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on Java over the past 5 years. Your deep expertise in Java environments will be pivotal in driving our projects forward.
• You are proficient in both synchronous and asynchronous communication technologies, including REST, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and others. Your expertise in these areas is essential for building robust, scalable services.
• You have a solid background in relational database technologies, ideally with experience in JPA, Hibernate, SQL / MySQL / MariaDB, and performance optimization.
• You possess sharp analytical abilities and a creative problem-solving mindset. Your ability to tackle challenges creatively is crucial for advancing our technological solutions. Our Offer
