The Team Lead, Purchasing will be responsible for leading and overseeing both procurement activities and aerospace-related projects within our organization. They will drive efficient procurement processes and contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Lead a procurement team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships
• Monitor supplier performance, manage vendor relationships, and implement improvement plans as needed
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to budgetary constraints while maintaining quality standards
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize procurement processes
• Manage aerospace projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Coordinate the allocation of resources, monitor project progress, and address any issues that arise
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects meet all necessary
• Identify opportunities to enhance procurement processes, such as implementing e-procurement systems or adopting sustainable sourcing practices
• Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize aerospace project workflows, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality control measures in both procurement and aerospace activities
• Implement and maintain relevant certifications and accreditations required for aerospace projects
