We are looking for a consultant for security audits / penetration testers at the Potsdam location as soon as possible.

As a technical security auditor, your task is to identify technical vulnerabilities in IT systems (from smartphones and complex IT procedures to operational systems such as drones and ships) and to assess their exploitability / criticality using a proof of concept. You will independently carry out IT security audits and penetration tests in the environment of the Federal Police, advise other specialist departments on the design of security architectures and carry out source code audits in the development areas.

Recruitment is generally intended as a tariff employee. Classification is in accordance with the collective agreement provisions of the TV EntgO Bund and the existing personal requirements in pay group 13.

If the requirements (completed IT degree and / or relevant professional experience) are not met, the employee will be placed in a lower pay group.

Security is our greatest asset! As you will be performing responsible tasks within the Federal Police, it is necessary to complete a security check.

Once the security check has been completed, if you have one of the above-mentioned degrees, you can be appointed as a civil servant from grade A 13h. German or EU / EEA citizenship is required for appointment as a civil servant.

Already a civil servant? For a transfer to the federal civil service, you must not have reached the age of 50. For applicants in the higher administrative service, a position with the grade A 14BBesO is available for the advertised post. Applicants from external authorities can therefore be considered up to grade A 14BBesO.

All civil servants who have completed a degree (university diploma / master's degree) in the above-mentioned disciplines are also eligible to apply (§24BLV).
