Intro Our customer in the automotive industry has initiated a carve-out project to transition an existing unit into an independent company. As part of this project, SAP systems will be partially rebuilt, adapted, and implemented to meet the requirements of the new organization. The goal is to establish efficient, standardized, and future-proof processes tailored to the needs of the new organization. To successfully execute this project, we are seeking an experienced SAP BW Developer (Technical Consultant) . This is a full-time role with occasional on-site presence in Hanover. The expected project duration is 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension. Start : 13.01.2025 Duration : 6-12 months Location : Hannover & Remote Industry : Automotive Kindly be informed that our customer is located in Germany. Therefore, only applications from candidates within the EU are required. Tasks Technical implementation of SAP BW projects, including SAP BW / 4HANA.Develop and optimize data models, transformations, and extraction processes (ETL). Design, create, and maintain BW queries and reports tailored to business requirements. Build and maintain data flows, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI / CO, SAP SD, SAP MM). Support data migration efforts and ensure data consistency throughout the project lifecycle. Troubleshoot, debug, and perform performance tuning of BW processes and reports. Implement customer-specific requirements and business logic within the SAP BW system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Prepare detailed technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in SAP BW development and technical implementation, including SAP BW / 4HANA. Proven expertise in data modeling, transformations, and extraction (ETL) processes. Strong skills in designing and creating SAP BW queries and reports. Experience with SAP BI tools and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI / CO, SAP SD, SAP MM). Solid understanding of data migration processes and ensuring data consistency. Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance optimization for BW processes. Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe) and an agile mindset. Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken). Experience working on international projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
