JOB SUMMARY
This is a remote position, however candidates must be based in the Greater Phoenix Arizona Area.
The Partner Technical Lead (PTL) is a senior technical enablement resource aligned to a defined set of channel partners within an assigned region. This role is focused on developing, enabling, and influencing partner technical communities , ensuring partners are equipped to lead with NetApp solutions independently. The PTL does not function as a direct sales engineer or primary customer-facing resource . Instead, the role partners closely with Partner Managers and partner technical leadership to build NetApp mindshare, technical competency, and long-term partner capability across the NetApp portfolio. Success in this role is driven by partner engagement, technical readiness, and alignment to partner goals , rather than direct sales execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner Enablement & Technical Leadership
- Serve as the primary technical enablement resource for assigned channel partners within a defined region.
- Develop partner technical capability so partners can independently conduct technical discovery, solution positioning, and sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner technical leaders and partner-facing technical teams.
- Influence partner technical strategy by aligning NetApp solutions to partner offerings and go-to-market motions.

QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience working with and enabling channel partners in a technical capacity, such as : Sales Engineer
Channel Sales Engineer
Solutions Architect supporting the channel
Compensation :
The target salary range for this position is 205,700 - 266,200 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and / or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
