The ideal candidate will have a strong background in our tech stack especially Python. Proficiency in AWS services serverless architecture and system design are essential as is a deep understanding of various databases. You recognize the importance of people management and are committed to it knowing that few can do it well.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and inspire a team of dedicated Python backend engineers empowering quant development tech units to deliver services beyond what competitors can imagine.
• Design and build new platforms for our customers using cutting-edge technology and modern software practices such as agile teams test automation and cloud-based infrastructure. Remain open to replacing your system when a better alternative emerges.
• Drive legacy systems forward remembering that every service here has been rewritten multiple times - reflecting our commitment to progress not complacency. Our legacy is about leaving a meaningful mark not tech debt.
• Select tools for storing processing and visualizing large and evolving datasets from diverse sources - we are a data-centric team that treats data with respect.
• Write clean testable and maintainable code and treat clarity as a first class citizen.
• Prioritize tangible business results and maintain a business-first approach in all engineering decisions.
• Promote teamwork open communication and knowledge sharing among colleagues.
• Create the next generation wealth management and brokerage services for everybody.
• Tech stack : Python DevOps Docker CI / CD pipelines Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform) AWS services such as Lambda SQS SNS ECS Step Functions Aurora DynamoDB Glue Athena and event-based asynchronous architectures.
