NET CHECK is headquartered in Berlin and is part of the NC GROUP, an owner-managed group of companies with a total of over 180 employees at five locations in Germany and one in Belgrade, Serbia. To further support our dynamic team we are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer .

Job Summary : In this role, you will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software releases. Your primary responsibilities will include manual and automated testing, debugging, and ensuring compatibility across various devices and software versions.

Responsibilities

Software Release Testing : Validate software updates, patches, and new releases to ensure stability and performance across multiple devices.
Installation & Deployment Testing : Ensure smooth installation and update processes for software on different devices, identifying potential issues in the installation workflow.
Test Case Development : Design, document, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans to validate software updates and device behaviour.
Bug Tracking & Reporting : Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Automation Testing : Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance efficiency in testing software releases and patches.
Collaboration : Work closely with development, product management, and support teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Continuous Improvement : Recommend process improvements and testing best practices to enhance software quality and testing efficiency.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or a similar role.

Familiarity with programming / scripting languages (Python) for automation.

Experience with testing tools (unit test, pytest) and knowledge of bug tracking systems (jira).

Knowledge of 3GPP standards related to mobile technologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
