Job Description
You are a part of :
A dynamic and ambitious global Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) team of Procurement Professionals where you are the strategist to lead and drive the portfolio and assigned suppliers strategy in strong collaboration with key stakeholders within own team, the BU’s, markets, Product Sourcing, R&D, Supplier Quality, Legal and Operations.
This is a global, dynamic, and ambitious role to create true impact as a Strategic Procurement Manager for the procurement and portfolio strategy of 3rd Party OEM & Accessories solutions for Philips Hospital Monitoring.
Your role :
The end-to-end management of a challenging OEM & 3rd Party product portfolio to enhance our Health Systems & Medical Device offering.
In close collaboration with the Business Units and Markets, the definition and implementation of the global procurement strategy and policy with a 3–5-year sight line to drive impact for both the bottom and top line.
Responsible for supplier evaluation and management within the assigned scope.
Conduct RFI’s / RFQ’s, follow up and report out on material cost status and timeline
Identifying supplier capabilities, performance, and technologies by conducting competitive assessments and benchmark of existing and potential suppliers.
Ensure effective communication and representation of Category strategy, programs and performance to all key-stakeholders.
Lead price negotiations for assigned supplier portfolio, including gathering relevant benchmark data, supplier market intelligence.
Actively manage suppliers to reduce shortages and coordinate Last Time Buys.
Work together with cross-functional teams to program and manage execution of supply base change projects via funnel and Source2Contract RfX event management.
Responsible for contract management within the assigned scope (develop, maintain, and execute).
Leading business review meetings and supplier evaluations for the assigned scope.
Ensure related risks are controlled and mitigated including quality and regulatory compliancy for all new supplier deployment as relevant.
You're the right fit if :
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain (business, procurement, economics, etc)
Minimum 5 years of procurement and / or commercial experience
Experience in a production environment (Medical / FDA and / or EU-MDR regulated preferred)
Solid program management skills to drive category related strategic objectives from end to end
Strong business acumen and oriented towards results / results oriented
Can-do attitude and willingness to work under high pressure to deliver impact
Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Problem / Conflict solving skills
Fluency in English (fluency in German and Spanish are a plus)
