Research Associate "Spatio-temporal Statistics for the Transition of Energy and Transport"

The position is part of the project “Uncertainty quantification for decision support in transport logistics systems” within the DFG-Collaborative Research Center / Transregio 391 (). The opportunity for concurrently pursuing a PhD is offered.
Your area of responsibility.
- Designing computer experiments on logistic systems, statistical modelling of key performance indicators and uncertainty quantification.
- Conducting original research e.g. in the fields of global sensitivity analysis, design of experiments, Gaussian process models and generalized additive models.
- Overseeing and coordinating the project management on the day-to-day level, supervising student assistants, preparing required documentation.
- Writing scientific publications for conferences and journals.
- Working in an interdisciplinary, international team of statisticians, experts in logistics and computer scientists.
