Job Description :

We are seeking a German-speaking Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with deep knowledge and experience in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technological transformation within insurance companies and will play a key role in driving our digital strategy and technology initiatives. You will bring a combination of technical leadership, strategic vision, and in-depth understanding of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, policy management, and customer service processes.

As CTO, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy to support growth and innovation. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure technology investments align with our long-term business goals and operational needs. Additionally, you will manage and inspire a talented team of technology professionals to deliver cutting-edge solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the highly competitive insurance landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technology Leadership : Lead the development and execution of the company’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term objectives.
• Digital Transformation : Spearhead digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of advanced technologies such as cloud computing, AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance business operations and customer engagement.
• Insurance Industry Expertise : Leverage deep knowledge of the insurance sector to drive innovation in underwriting, claims management, policy administration, and customer experience.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management : Work closely with business leaders, including those in underwriting, claims, risk, and operations, to understand technology needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Regulatory & Compliance : Ensure that all technology solutions comply with industry regulations and data protection laws specific to the insurance sector.
• Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Technology Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external technology providers, ensuring that partnerships deliver value and meet business needs.
