For our plant in Haßloch (Palatinate) we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager (m / f / d)

Key responsibilities :

Implement AMPS (Ardagh Metal Packaging System) model
Identify major opportunities for plant to improve level of operational focus and other potential BE initiatives
Promote CI culture through the introduction of data / fact-based decisions, systems thinking, employee empowerment, teams, and various statistical tools
Lead efforts to gain control and improve capability of processes and products
Train local employees, e.g. Yellow / Green Belt
Communicate CI through the plant organization, management of visual communication
Manage the CI project portfolio of the location. Reporting of progress development against Objectives, KPI’s, planning etc.
Serve as a project manager, depending upon project selection. Assist with project execution, provide functional input and identify functional resources
Responsible for integrating project, and process improvement achievements into daily activities of the plant
Perform data analyses as part of an integrated program of process control and designed experimentation
Develop, implement and maintain an effective SPC system using infinity, Apriso and others, including training

Requirements :

Possesses excellent communication skills with that ability to build consensus and sell ideas at all levels of the organization.

Familiar with statistics, determines the quality of data, is comfortable comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions and establishes effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions

University degree preferably in Engineering / Black Belt certification advantageous

Detailed operational IS skills, such as MS Office, SAP, statistical packages (e.g. Minitab, SPC).

Significant exposure to Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) and Kaizen principles

German and English fluently - verbal and writing
