Stellenbeschreibung

Malteurop produces 2,3 million tons of malt manufactured in its 23 factories around the world (Europe, North America, Mexico, Oceania, Asia). One in 10 beers consumed worldwide contains malt made in our plants. We are partners of the large brewing groups that we have followed in their international growth.

To strengthen our team at the Heidenau plant near Dresden, we are looking for a Quality and Logistics employee m / f / d. The assignment is limited until approx. June 2026 due to parental leave replacement.

Under the supervision of the Head of Quality and Logistics, you will be entrusted with the following activities :

Acceptance activities

  • Collaboration or substitution Sampling and quality control of grain (mainly barley / wheat) / malt and any by-products according to the working procedures (e.g. analysis of protein content & water, visual, odour control)
  • Reading the measuring devices and transferring the information to the various files (silo inspection, ...)
  • Documentation & ensuring the written transfer of instructions / information

Contributing to and supporting quality

  • Ensuring a flawless production process in compliance with the production plan, the specifications defined by the customer and in accordance with the quality strategy
  • Compliance with the ACP plan in terms of ensuring the application of control procedures
  • Collaboration in the management of raw material procurement in coordination with raw material procurement
  • Compliance with quality parameters and ensuring food safety on site
  • Checking the application of quality regulations in coordination with the Quality Assurance department at Head Office
  • Checking the efficiency of HACCP points and compliance with existing certifications (in consultation with the central Quality Assurance department).
  • Preparation of audits (customer audit, standards audit, internal audit, supplier audit, etc.)
  • Implementation of the SQEP Action Plan (corrective actions as a result of audits, monitoring of analytical control plans and product monitoring - in relation to barley, water, malt, by-products, etc. -drawn up by the central quality assurance department)
  • Support with regard to the site's document management
  • Recording of analytical results obtained by the central laboratory (Technical Centre) or external laboratories in SAP or spreadsheets
  • Regulations and certification

  • Applying and monitoring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, analysing deviations and identifying necessary improvements
  • Participation in various certifications (e.g. DIN-EN-ISO 9001, 22000, 50001, GMP+ B2, etc.)
  • Participation in cross-departmental projects of the BU (CSR, integrated management system, etc.)
  • Support for logistics

  • Contact, counselling and support of customers and suppliers m / f / d
  • Order placement and contract management in cooperation with the Procurement Germany / France department
  • Order processing / post-processing and documentation in SAP
  • Knowledge & respect of food safety and QHSE rules
  • Knowledge of analyses
  • Methodology of work organisation
  • Customer requirements and supplier requirements
  • IT skills (SAP, Office)
  • Technical knowledge and knowledge of the products (including malting technology)
  • Sufficient understanding of safety
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Understanding of the risks associated with ATEX areas, full control of these and compliance with the applicable rules
