We are uniquely positioned to support transit bus and rail car manufacturers as well as public transit operators around the globe.

We are developing and delivering technology with tangible benefits to public transit.

Requirements

  • Computer science or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Min. 2 years of experience as a system administrator or in a comparable role. (Experience in a production environment preferred).
  • Fluent German and very good English skills.
  • Knowledge of the principles and procedures for providing customer and HR services.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering and technology.
  • Good knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms preferred.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically (10%)

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular system updates patches and maintenance to ensure system integrity and security.
  • Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and be proactive about potential problems. Implement and maintain system backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Manage and maintain servers to ensure optimal performance and security including physical and virtual servers. Troubleshoot server issues and implement necessary solutions.
  • Provide technical support to end users including software installation configuration and problem resolution. Train employees on best practices in using company systems and tools.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols including user access controls and firewall configurations. Monitor and respond promptly to security incidents and breaches. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps. Prepare regular reports on system performance and incidents for management review.
  • Collaborate with IT team on various projects including system upgrades migrations and technology integrations. Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies and solutions to improve system performance
