Your Responsibilities

The Jedox R&D team has been constantly developing and evolving since 2002. With a healthy mix of the original team and of newcomers over the years, it has managed to stay on the frontline of technical change, bringing a disruptive product into the Market. Now transitioning our organization to a Agile, we are looking for a Scrum Master to join our #OneTeam and make sure our customers can further enjoy the best Jedox ever.

You will be responsible for coaching our teams to support Agile ways of working, together with our Senior Scrum Master. You will guide cross-functional teams, stakeholders & managers on various aspects of the product development and delivery processes. In this context, your responsibilities will be to :

  • Coach Scrum Teams, including Product Owners on agile requirements, agile planning, backlog management
  • Coach embrace Agile / Scrum Core Values, adopt, and apply Agile / Scrum Principles, implement Agile practices
  • Promote a collaboration and feedback culture, within teams and across teams, to support the successful transformation
  • Support teams in addressing and eliminating issues to improve the likelihood of achieving the objectives of ongoing iterations
  • Promote Agile quality practices – guide teams to constantly improve the quality of their deliverables and meet the Definition of Done (DoD)
  • Coach teams in using agile estimation and team velocity management.
  • Support teams to define and measure key-figures and communicate them in a comprehensible way, to ensure standard measurement and transparency
  • Assess and suggest Agile frameworks
  • Coach Junior Scrum masters
  • Capacity to come regularly to Freiburg on demand (for onboarding, workshops, etc.)

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Software development, Computer Science, Business, or Technology.
  • You already have experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master for a minimum of 3+ years, in a tech environment.
  • You enjoy the servant Leadership approach, demonstrate strong communication skills that ensure transparency in the team and enable continuous improvement at different level of the organisation.
  • You are not afraid to point out problems or to address "the elephant in the room".
  • Expertise / certification in at least in one of the following : Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Lean, DSDM (Dynamic Systems Development Method), FDD (Feature DrivenDevelopment) or XP (Extreme Programming)
  • Expertise In Agile Enterprise Scaled Agile Framework is a plus : (SAFe), Scrum@Scale (SaS), Large-scale Scrum (LeSS), Disciplined Agile Delivery (DaD) or Nexus.
