Our client is a renowned expert who primarily operates in the financial services sector. They are looking for a Head of Legal and Compliance for a permanent position.

In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the company's adherence to legal and regulatory standards while minimizing risks and promoting a robust compliance culture. You will manage all legal and compliance issues, offering strategic advice to senior management and ensuring that business operations comply with Luxembourg's regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Your responsibilities :

• Guarantee full adherence to Luxembourg financial regulations, especially those relevant to PSF de Support, including CSSF and AML / KYC mandates.
• Track legal and regulatory changes, evaluate their impact on the company, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Create, enforce, and sustain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international laws.
• Act as the main point of contact with regulators, particularly the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), and handle regulatory reporting duties.
• Perform internal compliance audits and evaluations, identifying risks and implementing corrective measures.
• Educate employees on compliance, ethics, and regulatory topics.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, contractual obligations, and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, service agreements, and other legal documents.
• Counsel senior management and stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
