Computer Scientist (f / m / x) - Provisioning of DLR Quantum Computers - Forschung, Ingenieur

Our areas of competence include reliable and safety-critical software systems, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and quantum computing, human-system interaction and visualisation, software and systems engineering as well as digital platforms and digital twins.

What to expect

The Intelligent and Distributed Systems department researches methods to make complex technical processes and systems – from software development to automated workflows and AI-assisted analysis – traceable, automatable, and interactively experimentally accessible.

Your tasks

• Develop new methods, concepts, and tools to lower the barrier to entry for using the DLR quantum computers
• Implement these tools based on existing developments
• Elicit and develop requirements in constant discussion with researchers at DLR and other users of the DLR quantum computers
• Support users in using the developed tools

You will work independently on the tasks mentioned and liaise with the other team members and the group leader.We give you the freedom and opportunity to pursue your own ideas and drive forward new research topics.
