For our customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Materials & Processes Engineer (m / f / d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities :
Development of functional materials and associated manufacturing processesSupport to workpackages in the area of FCAS and internal development projectsSupport to national and international R&T projectsDeliver material solutions including associated data to other airframe disciplinesDevelop eco-efficient materials and processes to comply with EHS regulations such as REAChCreation and harmonization of material and process specificationsDefinition of material and manufacturing process selection lists based on program requirementsDefinition, coordination and execution of material, process or part specific qualification campaignsM&P support to other engineering and manufacturing disciplinesM&P support to supplier audits, quality escapes or obsolescencesSupport in supplier development in the area of structural and non-structural polymersEnsure appropriate documentation and reportingYour profile :
Completed studies in aerospace, mechanical engineering, materials science or comparableSeveral years of work experience in aerospaceM&P Composite background is a must haveExperience in definition and execution of test programs including coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers is mandatoryFirst experience with environmental regulatory compliance is appreciatedWorking experience in laboratory environment is necessaryGood knowledge of non-structural aerospace materials and manufacturing technologies is requiredSound knowledge in the area of composite technology is neededBasic knowledge in the area of aircraft design and associated requirements is requiredDemonstrated work package management skills and respective reporting skills is a must haveVery good knowledge in MS-OfficeFluent German and English skills both spoken and writtenYour partner :
