Engineering Director - Stuttgart, Germany -12-Month Contract

We're representing a top-tierglobal pharmaceutical company situated in and around Germany. Withsignificant capital investment and numerous ongoing projects, ourclient seeks a skilled Engineering Director to strengthen theirteam.

Role andResponsibilities :

  • Responsible for theEngineering House contract and deliverables, including design,field engineering, budget, progress, and quality across the CapitalProject.
  • Ensures on-time projectdeliverables.
  • Prepare and present projectstatus and targets.
  • Ensures deliverables meetall quality & compliance standards.
  • Acts asescalation point to Engineeringhouse.
  • Responsible for aligning expectationsand agreeing workflows for deliverables within the field ofengineering.
  • Ensure correctness and fulfilmentof Engineering List of Deliverables.
  • Ensuredelivery and implementation of solutions which fulfil requirementsand expectations.
  • Technical scopemanagement.
  • Engineering quality and internalreviews.
  • Supports in dialogue betweenEngineering house and vendors from design stage toconstruction.
  • Coordination with other functionsin the project.
  • Technical guidance andcoordination as needed.
  • Supports EngineeringSystems.

Requirements :

  • 10years of experience on Major Capital Projects within the lifesciences sector.
  • Senior profile with provenproject management and engineering managementskills.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
  • Degree within Engineeringor relevant discipline.
  • Proven leadershipskills.
  • Strong interpersonalskills.
  • Independentdecision-maker.
  • Flexible and able to adjuststrategies to changes in theenvironment.
  • Adopts means of communication andinteraction that suit differentcultures.
  • Strategic anddetail-oriented.
