LOCATION : Hamburg, Germany

REPORTS TO : Retail Planning & Deployment Manager

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

• Be an integral part of the Retail Planning Team and develop, plan, and coordinate all Sales Force activities for the German end market in coordination with Category and Commercial Teams to support our products and our company strategy as best as possible within retail.
• With your commitment, you are making a significant contribution to our agenda of A Better Tomorrow in which, in addition to classic tobacco products, you help to promote awareness, sharpen understanding and to drive sales of our PRRP (Potentially Reduced Risk Products) portfolio in the retail sector.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Development of holistic, multi-category Retail campaign concepts to be executed via BAT Sales Force in respective time frames
• Conception of roll-out models for Retail Launch, Distribution and Activation activities
• Calculation of Sales Force capacity allocations per activity under consideration of maximum efficiency & effectiveness
• Presentation of campaign plans in Senior stakeholder meetings under enforcement of decisions / approvals
• Aggregation of single campaign tasks into compelling Briefing documents
• Preparation of Sales Force Briefing sessions as well as presentation of Retail campaign briefings to audience
• Administration of campaigns within IT system landscape (Anaplan, Salesforce)
• Consultation of Brand Marketing, Key Account and Activation Teams during the campaign planning & activity development process
• Evaluation of campaign results to measure success and deviances vs. plan by close KPI monitoring and Retail outlet visits
• Participation in task forces to manage business relevant ad hoc opportunities

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• University degree or vocational education and at least 2+ years job experience, ideally within Trade Marketing or R2M
• Good knowledge level of German Trade landscape and Retail Customer structures as well as preferably experience with Customer management via a Field Force organization
• Proactive, cross-departmental thinking and acting as well as excellent stakeholder management skills
• Assertiveness and a confident manner as well as very good set communication and presentation skills
• High flexibility, resilience, and a strong priority setting ability
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent German & English skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent MS Office skills, esp. Excel and PowerPoint and generally high affinity for IT systems
