Energy Management Consultant (DFM)

Job Description:

This position is part of our Sustainability Unit which aims to empower businesses to build a sustainable future.

Task description

• Preparation support and follow-up for internal and external energy audits (e.g. ISO 50001)

• Developing tracking and monitoring Significant Energy Usage (SEU) performance

• Maintaining and updating energy management documentation and action plans

• Energy data reporting including maintaining the energy report and management tool

• Close collaboration and exchange with internal departments on energy topics

• Organizing and supporting energy team meetings (preparation and follow-up)

• Providing support for the preparation of management reviews

• Creation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Required qualification

The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Environmental Engineering Electrical Engineering or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways.

Required competences and skills

• Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility

• Working experience as an Energy Management Consultant or a similar role

• Knowledge of energy management standards and methodologies (ISO 50001 DIN EN 17463)

• Experience with Google-Suite e!Sankey eSight SAP Skywise (Palantir Foundry) and/or Qlik

• Familiarity with project management methodologies like Waterfall LBIP or Agile

• Strong technical analytical and conceptual skills

• Strong reliability and precise working methods

• Committed proactive and team-orientated way of thinking and working

• A skilful confident manner and strong improvisation organisational and communication skills

• Business fluent in German and very good written and spoken English

• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad

Location

For this role you can choose between two of our locations. Either You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy. Or the second option is our location just a stones throw away from Munich the beautiful state capital of Bavaria.
