Service Technician (industrial / maintenance / CNC / PLC) - Germany

Job Description

GateSource HR is seeking a Service Technician on behalf of a leading industrial machinery company. In this role, you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the optimal performance of high-tech industrial equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong CNC / PLC skills and experience in machinery maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technical Support & Maintenance (50%)

Perform on-site and remote technical support to resolve machinery issues.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable equipment operation.

Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.

Assist in machine installation, calibration, and performance adjustments.

Ensure smooth final acceptance procedures alongside the project team.

Train customers on proper machine operation and maintenance best practices.

Support the sales team with technical insights for aftersales services.

Follow all safety, quality, and operational protocols.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service activities.

Provide feedback on potential product improvements and technical solutions.

Support and mentor new team members when needed.
