In the Faculty IV : School of Science and Technology, ET-I / Computer Vision, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.04.2026 at the following conditions :
- 100% = 39,83 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limitedby 31.03.2028
The position is initially limited to two years, with the aim of continuing employment.
Your tasks :
Support of Bachelor and Master study programs in the department of electrical engineering and computer scienceSupport of research, teaching, supervision of students, and adminstrative tasks in the computer vision groupIndependently conducting theoretically grounded and empirically supported research in machine learningPublication of research results in relevant international journals or conferencesContributions to the development and discussion of research project ideas, including interdisciplinary directionsteaching obligation : 4 SWSYour profile :
Scientific university degree (master's or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics (or equivalent) or preferably completed doctorate in the field of machine learning, research with data on graphs, 3D shapes, and sound mathematical knowledge of the underlying techniques, e.g., Laplace-Beltrami operators, as well as very good skills in implementing these techniques in PythonTeaching experienceParticipation in scientific exchange (conferences, reviews, research reports, etc.) and at least one international publicationInterest in interdisciplinary collaborationVery good English skillsOur range of services :
