Construction Manager
The Client
Datacenter People is working with an award-winning, industry leader in building, owning, and operating data centers. Our client operates multiple data centers in the USA as part of a global data center platform that sees multiple facilities distributed across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
What the Job Involves...
- Coordinate with the regional Sr. Director on communications with various contractors and vendors in order to manage the day-to-day activities of a construction project.
- Organize Project Plans to include, budget, scheduling, timeline, etc Assists with RFPs to Contractors.
- Organize and control the project documentation from initial RFP to Closeout to insure uniformity and adherence to company standards.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client
- Represent the company in project meetings
- Act as key Liaison with managers of all company departments.
We're Looking for Someone Who...
- 10+ years experience managing construction projects as an owner representative or working for a general contractor.
- Exceptional organization skills
- Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills.
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects.
- Effective Communicator emails, phone and face to face.
