We passionately approach coffee and meticulously consider every detail to arrive at a specific end result. Our desire is to pique the curiosity of those unfamiliar with specialty coffee and to meet the demands of those looking for great coffee.

WHO ARE WE

Generator is on a journey. Appropriate, given that we're a leading global lifestyle accommodation brand. ABOUT GENERATOR BERLIN MITTE

Berlin’s renaissance has made it one of the most appealing cities for artists and musicians, its reputation cemented as a cultural powerhouse where epic party nights aren’t just one-offs. Once you come you won’t want to leave. Generator Berlin Mitte is right in the heart of the city. Formerly two 19th century office buildings, it’s now fused into one arts-focused über hostel. And it’s all within stress-free walking distance of Hackescher Markt, Alexanderplatz and Kunsthaus Tacheles.

For art enthusiasts, the hostel includes a sculptural string installation by French artist Sebastian Preschoux and corridors filled with super-sized signature faces by Thierry Noir. A historic courtyard, vibrant social spaces and a chill-out library make it feel like a real home away from home.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Greeting customers and taking orders
• Ability to dial in Espresso, Fetco, and Pour Over coffees daily
• Maintain Stock / Preparing stock needed such as house made syrups and cold brewed coffee
• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for specialty coffee
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Maintain high quality and consistent product standards
• Effectively completing opening and closing duties.
• Maintaining the greatest customer service with those guests that are / are not guests of the Generator
